The Children’s Area
A dedicated children’s area will provide a wide range of activities designed to entertain and educate. It will give children, parents and teachers from different communities the opportunity to learn and be enthused by food and nature through planting workshops and hands on cookery classes.
Jo Ingleby, BBC Cook of the Year 2015, will be running hands on ‘Spice up your life’ sessions all day at Live Food. Come along and make an exclusive Love Food blend of spices or herbs that are good for your heart, mind and stomach. These sessions will be hands on and suitable for all ages (children under 7 will need a grown up to stay with them) and you can take away what you have made to cook with later. Suggested donation £2
Make your own unique magical ‘love and peace’ spreading spell from a selection of dried flowers and herbs that you take away with you. You could choose to make it for you or someone else. And you can use these these spells in a variety of ways….. ( in the bath, as a compress, as a sleep bag, as a healing/protecting spell in the home) Suggested donation £2
