Jo Ingleby

This Autumn’s Love Food will be packed full of delicious things to do for all the family! Jo Ingleby (BBC Cook of the Year 2015) will be holding cookery workshops for children of all ages all day. The sessions are free but we do ask for a contribution if you can afford to pay. Children under 7 need to be with an adult, older children are welcome to bring a grown up if they want, but don’t have to.
During these fun, hands on, sessions we will be making dishes using the best of local, seasonal ingredients. The sessions last approximately 40 minutes and will carry on through the day, just come along and join in, or sign up if we are busy.
Sessions will include:
Herb Butter making
English Apple and Cinnamon Crumbles
Roasted Squash Dip
Hazelnut Pesto
Richard Hudson

Richard, from Dick Willows Cider will be talking about craft cider making as he experiences it. Apples he knows and uses and the cider culture and tradition that is ever present in this part of the world.
Oodle Doodle

The wonderful ‘Oodle Doodle’ will be back too and will be hosting some superb autumnal craft activities for our younger visitors
Hoba Kebab

Hoba Kebab, The Real Kebab – We’re giving the kebab a new lease of life! We use fresh local produce grilled over charcoal and pack it into authentic Turkish bread with pickles, vegetables and herby salads. Celebrating local producers, animal welfare and ethically sourcing ingredients is at the heart of what we do.
Awesome Street Food

Awesome Street Food – Delicious crispy squid served with our without chorizo and padron peppers
and a choice of delicious dressings.
Step and Stone
Our Bristol-based bakery, Step and Stone, makes handmade lavosh flatbreads with a social purpose. We work with young people with learning disabilities, helping to develop their skills and confidence so they can eventually find employment in the mainstream catering world. We’re a community interest company, so all our profits are ploughed straight back into the bakery.
