The Children’s Area
A dedicated children’s area will provide a wide range of activities designed to entertain and educate. It will give children, parents and teachers from different communities the opportunity to learn and be enthused by food and nature through planting workshops and hands on cookery classes.

Wild garlic is bursting through in our local woods so we thought we would make the most of this delicious and FREE ingredient! Jo Ingleby will be hosting hands on children's cookery workshops all day making Wild Garlic Goyoza (Japanese Dumplings) filled with wild garlic and seasonal vegetables. This is a great recipe for practising chopping, making dumplings and, of course, tasting! There will be sessions half past every hour which last approximately 30 minutes. Children under 6 need to be accompanied by an adult. The recipe is vegan, please let us know of any allergies before starting the workshop.
