“Congratulations to Lorna and all involved with great @LoveFoodFest this weekend – you make #Bristol much better place” George Ferguson – Mayor of Bristol.
“Lorna Knapman aims to showcase the unsung heroes of the food world and champion local producers from across the South West. The festival introduces people to produce that has been grown, reared, caught, brewed or baked by producers and farmers on our doorstep. It reconnects people with the simple pleasures of buying, growing and cooking great, locally-produced food.” Rick Stein.
“The Bristol love food festival showcases and champions really fabulous local producers from across the South West which helps to promote a thoughtful and sustainable lifestyle, there will be 60+ stall holders, live demo kitchen, lively library information and speakers room, cinema area and herb garden so a great day out for everyone. Its one of the up and coming food festivals to visit in the UK” Tom Aikens.
“We had a great time at the festival and the girls really enjoyed the children activities (especially the pasta making. We took them home and my daughter who is a fussy eater enjoyed them for her tea). It was a brilliant day and great opportunity to enjoy good quality food as well as discover new green / environmentally friendly products. We look forward to next one.” Domino.
“I just wanted to say you should be so proud of yourself for what you achieved yesterday! It looked and felt amazing – you did a fantastic job, so well organised, Eve loved her pasta and the Ice Cream!” Claire.

“Thank you for such great organisation. We had a lovely weekend and it was so good to be indoors! There seemed to be plenty of people around and they were certainly interested customers. It was great to see how long people stuck around too… we noticed many people circuiting three or four times and staying for several hours. Lovely idea to have the massage and the children’s area too.” The Farmhouse Kitchen.
“Many many thanks for a great Festival. We had a great time and it was certainly worthwhile for us. Please count us in for next years show! I don’t think there would be any comments made to improve as we felt there was sufficient advertising with Crumbs and Publicity to support the event. The Face Painter was AMAZING! please can I have her number?? also your macaroon guy ? what’s the name of his company and contact details too? You are a brilliant organiser Lorna and well done on a successful event! we are very much looking forward to our next event with you on June 23rd at Newark. Thank you once again Lorna for a brilliant show!” Lisa – The Bath Food Company.
“I just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic day – I was a little worried it might be quiet, what with the wretched weather! But I needn’t have worried, to me it felt almost as busy as I’ve known it. And everyone seemed very cheerful – all positive comments from my customers. And as usual, the face painting was outrageously good!” Laura – Bellevue Bakery.
“We had a superb day in Bath on Sunday and despite the weather we sold all of our cakes! We also have a wedding enquiry to follow up from one of the stall holders! We thought the event was fantastic and the location is brilliant!”

“Within the space of six months Lorna Knapman has single handedly-developed and managed a new and highly successful family-friendly food event. Love Food has proved to be a great asset to the programme of events at Paintworks; it’s vibrant and fun and genuinely celebrates the best food and drink that the region has to offer. The wonderful atmosphere and immense popularity of the event is a testament to Lorna’s hard work and I look forward to the future of Love Food at Paintworks.” – Natalie Franco – Paintworks.
