oxfordsOxfords Bakery in Sherborne Dorset haven’t changed their methods or recipes for over four generations, Ingredients are still combined using the original 1911 dough mixer, before being moulded by skilled hands using techniques that have been passed down between generations. Finally, it is left to “prove” before being cooked in the original Edwardian oven.

_godminsterGodminster Farm is set on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Bruton and was registered organic in 1999. With 1300 acres of beautiful landscape, the farm not only homes 280 organic dairy cows but also boasts fruitful orchards filled with a variety of delicious fruits and herbs which are used as inspiration for many of the Godminster products. The freshness of the milk and the sustainable approach to farming is a major contributor to the delicious and distinctive taste of our award-winning Godminster cheese and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

communityfarmThe Community Farm is a social enterprise owned by more than 500 local people. We grow and sell organic and locally sourced food via an organic box delivery service as well as involve people from our local community in growing and learning about the food they eat. Our profits are used to provide learning experiences for local children, adults and vulnerable people. Our aim is to help people develop a better understanding of where their food comes from, reconnect with the land on which their food is grown, and learn more about sustainable farming.

For too long have they been sidelined as drab and depressingly stodgy additions to a picnic or buffet. With grey ’meat’. Terrible. We’re making them the way they should be  – crispy light handmade pastry and excellent pork. But it’s about more than just shoving meat into pastry, you have to get the recipes right, and I think these ones have been nailed.
